Nobody knows exactly what year it is except that it's been a long way since the golden era of the 21st century.
What everybody thought never would happen did happen... Nuclear Holocaust.
Those that survived either died from radiation sickness or fled underground... except for a few marine regiments that at the time were submerged in their subs. Somehow they managed to establish a new habitat under water in those places where radiation could not penetrate the depths of the sea.
Centuries later we find ourselves at a young but thriving settlement near what was once Greece... New Athens. At a depth of 32 kilometers people live their lives there not knowing any other way to live... only that reaching the surface means certain death.
Lorie (of Italian ancestry) works in New Athens as an explosives engineer for the local mining corporation and uses her skills well in her other less known job as a pirate *g*
The above scenario is Mark's brain child who hosts this scenario in one of our many RPG's. Lorie is my character.
I used a very dear friend of mine as a reference for Lorie's face. I hope she'll love this drawing if she ever sees it.
