In 1995 I was in Budapest, Hungary for the first time and that is where I saw this statue. It appealed to me very much for reasons you can hopefully see yourself and so I decided to make a drawing of it.
Anonymous is the name given to a famous Hungarian historian that apparantly recorded history in a rather splendid fashion... Unfortunately the poor bloke never signed his name under any of his writings... ;)
